209-477-2449 W.T.HULL & CO./ PNE 790 PO4 SRN 29'94 10:50 <br />• HJR <br />A"Ln =ENCEAIM « <br />Site Remediation Proposal Page 2 <br />132 Frank West Circle - Stockton, CA <br />December 17,1993 <br />Task 7 - Removal of Hazardous Chemicals and Contaminants <br />Task S - Removal of Piping Located in the Concrete Sumps and Drainage <br />System <br />Task 9 - Steam Cleaning of Concrete Sumps, Drainage System, and Floor <br />Task 10 - Removal of Ceiling Piping and Ventilation Ducts <br />Task 11- Bead Blasting of Concrete Floors <br />Task 12 - Removal of Non -Hazardous Material and Debris <br />Task 13 - Disposal of Hazardous Chemicals and Contaminants and Non - <br />Hazardous Material and Debris <br />Task 14 - Inspection and Monitoring <br />ASE will review the Work Plan and Site Specific Health and Safety Plan <br />described in Task 1, monitor C.ICC., Inc. as they accomplish Tasks 7 - <br />13, and conduct visual inspections of the Site to verify sampling <br />requirements. <br />Task 15 - Sampling <br />ASE will core through the concrete sump floors in the Plating Room, the <br />Hazardous Waste Treatment System, and Tank Containment Area, as <br />required, to allow for visual and olfactory observations of the soil for <br />the presence of subsurface contamination from chemical spills or leaks. <br />ASE will bore into the soil and collect samples to verify possible <br />contamination and quantify chemical concentrations. ASE will also <br />collect wipe samples from walls, floors, and ceilings - primarily from the <br />Dry Film Rooms, Plating Room, and Laboratory - after they have been <br />steam -cleaned and bead -blasted to ensure that the contamination has <br />been remediated. <br />All of the samples will be transported to, and analyzed by, a state <br />certified laboratory for EPA Priority Pollutant Metals (silver, arsenic,' <br />beryllium, cadmium, copper, chromium, mercury, nickel, lead, <br />antimony, selenium, thallium, and zinc). The pH level will also be <br />analyzed in the soil samples. <br />
