Emergency Response Team Duties <br /> Quality performance of the duties listed below are the core of an effective <br /> emergency response plan. The people assigned to these duties have proven <br /> their decision-making skills and ability to manage people and events. The <br /> Emergency Response Coordinators have been trained, cross-trained, and <br /> tested. During time of emergency, the plan below should be used as an on-site <br /> duty check-off list. <br /> Response Coordinator Phil Acosta: <br /> ❑ Find cause of problem <br /> ❑ Notify 911 (fire department) <br /> ❑ Delegate further action for eliminating additional damage <br /> for example: <br /> proper use of absorbent materials <br /> proper use of fire extinguishers <br /> See MITIGATION section <br /> ❑ Supervise evacuations and all emergency procedures <br /> See EVACUATION section <br /> See NOTIFICATION section <br /> Alternate Coordinator #1 Robert Acosta: <br /> ❑ Determine if evacuation is necessary, and notify Response <br /> Coordinator. <br /> ❑ If evacuation is necessary, upon approval of Response Coordinator, <br /> spread the alarm. <br /> See EVACUATION section <br /> ❑ Assist employees and visitors in reporting to staging area. <br /> ❑ Make a headcount of employees and visitors at staging area. <br /> ❑ Report to Response Coordinator for further instructions. <br />
