All hazardous waste containers <br /> shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> - accumulation start date <br /> Contents of this container were moved to an appropriate 55-gallon container and an appropriate label was affixed to it. <br /> However, since it cannot be determined how long this waste absorbent has been on site, immediately contact a <br /> licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by April 17, 2015. This facility was not operational since the new site operator took over this facility in <br /> early 2014. <br /> Tease be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> inline to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include <br /> ;our hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant <br /> r, ctivities and required fields. <br /> NOTES: <br /> An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at least one <br /> emergency coordinator on site or on-call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following <br /> Information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire <br /> extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, <br /> ji-iless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an emergency coordinator and post the required <br /> nformation by a phone. A form was provided that can be used for this purpose and filled out at the time of <br /> nspection. <br /> 2. One open gray container of waste oily absorbent was noted behind the site's store. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Oily absorbent was transfered into <br /> an appropriate 55-gallon container with a lockable lid.
