Naresh Klair stated that the facility does not have any more spill control equipment at this time and <br /> that the business will be ordering more spill control equipment to replenish their supplies. Spill control <br /> equipment, and/or decontamination equipment must be provided. Correct immediately by providing spill <br /> control equipment, and/or decontamination equipment at this facility. Submit a corrective action <br /> statement on how this issue was corrected to the EHD by June 14, 2013. <br /> 404. Naresh Klair confirmed that the unlabeled open 55 gallon container of saturated absorbent in the <br /> stock room will be disposed of as a hazardous waste. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at <br /> all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close this container and ensure all <br /> hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> 108. In the stockroom, an open unlabeled five gallon bucket contains a used diesel fuel filter and liquid. <br /> Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately <br /> make a hazardous waste determination for the unknown liquid that the used diesel fuel filter is in, and <br /> manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed by June 14, 2013. <br /> 605. Naresh Klair confirmed that the unlabeled open 55 gallon container of saturated absorbent in the <br /> stock room will be disposed of as a hazardous waste. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked <br /> with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label this container and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot be determined how long the unlabeled open 55 gallon container of saturated <br /> absorbent in the stock room has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br /> dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by June 14, 2013. <br /> 605 & 701. Two fifty-five gallon drums of hazardous waste stored outside the mini mart have the <br /> accumulation start date of May 15, 2012.
