STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE: SLOT CLEANING PROCEDURE <br />slot cleaning board. <br />Step 10: Move onto next slot. <br />E�� <br />g. Pressure Washing Equipment <br />i. Pallet Jack. <br />ii. Trash Barrel. <br />iii. Long handled razor scraper. <br />iv. Broom and Dust Pan. <br />v. Squeegee <br />vi. Pressure Washer filled with hot water cleaning solution mix <br />vii. Floor Scrubber <br />viii. Personal protective equipment as required by MSDS of those materials being used. <br />ix. Heavy duty elbow length rubberized cleaning gloves. <br />x. Steel toed shoes. <br />xi. Sprayer applicators with cleaning and sanitizing solutions <br />h. Pressure washing steps <br />Step 1: <br />Associate uses pallet jack to pull all of the pallets from both sides of two <br />aisles making sure each pallet is marked with its appropriate slot out <br />into the aisle. Any pallets that are in rack slots will be removed by a <br />forklift operator. <br />Step 2: <br />Associate then sweeps all slots of all trash and debris while looking at <br />the same time for any evidence of possible infestation, on the pallet, in <br />the slot, or on the mouse trap. Any damaged merchandise should be <br />brought back to OS & D for proper documentation. If evidence of <br />infestation or activity is present, document on the cleaning log and <br />inform supervisor immediately. <br />Ste 3: <br />Associate then sweeps up trash and puts into dum ster. <br />Step 4: <br />Associate then sprays down ZEP PDC/Formula 22 in areas where <br />needed. <br />Ste 5: <br />Associate then power washes slots and also in the aisle. <br />Step 6: <br />Associate then uses squeegee to remove excess water in the slots <br />making sure the slot is dry. <br />Step 7: <br />Associate then has scrubber operator pick up water that has been <br />squeegeed into the aisle from the slots. <br />Step 8: <br />Associate applies ZEP FM AMINE Z (sanitizer) to floor and rack and <br />allows to air d (where necessary). <br />Step 9: <br />Associate then puts back pallets into correct slots and fork lift operator <br />puts pallets back where necessary. <br />Step 10: <br />Supervisor and associate check the work and bo VA <br />- EIVr- <br />cleaning to ower wash cleaning sheet. <br />SEP <br />0 3 205 <br />F� <br />SAM I .PR.07.04 Page 8 of 11 <br />
