Jose L. Perez
17 February 2009
Page 2
depth of approximately 45 feet below grade. The second borehole will measure 15 inches in
diameter and will be drilled to a depth of approximately 85 feet below grade. The boreholes will be
completed as a 2 -inch -diameter groundwater monitoring wells. The wells will be secured with
locking caps and completed at the surface with flush mounted, traffic rated, steel well boxes.
The work is expected to take approximately 4 days. All materials generated during drilling activities
will be stored at the former service station property.
As required by the CRWQCB-CVR, the well will be sampled every three months. The sampling will
require our technician to be onsite for approximately 1 day. All equipment and materials used for
sampling will be removed from your site upon completion of the work. We will make every attempt
to minimize the impact to you or your tenants and will send notification prior to the installation of
the well. ETIC will be responsible for any damage that may be caused to your property as a result of
and limited to the borehole drilling. After completion of the project, the well will be removed
according to the applicable well standards and the drilling location will be properly resurfaced to
match the surrounding conditions.
0Access\9 S- 3330 N M D.M.
