Robert A. Sullivan
21 May 2007
Page 2
The groundwater monitoring well will be installed using a truck -mounted rotary drill rig equipped
with hollow -stem augers. The boreholes will measure 8.25 inches diameter and will be drilled to a
depth of approximately 45 feet below grade. The borehole will be completed as a 2 -inch -diameter
groundwater monitoring well. The well will be secured with a locking cap and completed at the
surface with a flush mounted, traffic rated steel well box.
The work is expected to take approximately 1 day. All materials generated during drilling activities
will be stored at the former service station property.
As required by the CRWQCB-CVR, the well will be sampled every three months. The sampling will
require our technician to be onsite for approximately 1 day. All equipment and materials used for
sampling will be removed from your site upon completion of the work. We will make every attempt
to minimize the impact to your tenants and will notify them prior to the installation of the well.
ETIC will be responsible for any damage that may be caused to your property as a result of and
limited to the borehole drilling. After completion of the project, the well will be removed according
to the applicable well standards and the drilling location will be properly resurfaced to match the
surrounding conditions.
G TrojmtW-CASTublicC=SOt6uc Ac X99 -CAS -MO N EI Dorado Sv A.,
