Testing was performed in accordance with the chain -of -custody
instructions.
EPA 8260B:
LCS/LCSD Batch 110928L06 and 110928L07: All target analytes were within
acceptance criteria with the exception of Ethanol. The LCS/LCS Duplicate recoveries for
this analyte was slightly above the upper control limit of 140%, but was below the
NELAC-defined upper marginal exceedance (ME) limit of 154%. (ME = +/- 4 standard
deviations.) Based upon the number of analytes spiked into the LCS/LCSD, and per
NELAC, the laboratory is allowed to report associated data when there is, in this case,
one marginal exceedance in an LCS. The result has been flagged "LQ" and "RU" in the
report.
LCS/LCSD Batch 110928L06 and 110928L07: All target analytes were within
acceptance criteria with the exception of 1,1-Dichloroethene. The LCS % recovery and
the LCS/LCSD RPD for this analyte were above the upper control limit. The MS/MSD %
recoveries however were within the control limits and the associated sample was non -
detect for Ethanol. Thus, the sample data was reported without further clarification. The
result has been flagged "LQ" and "IL" in the report. o
U
Z
7440 Lincoln Way, Garden Grove, CA 92841-1427 • TEL:(714) 895-5494 - FAX:(714) 894-7501
