(See Exhibit J - Photos of Hazardous
Waste Container and Management Area)
Many of the "waste streams"identified in this
inspection report were from the production area and
had not yet become wastes.
During normal production time, these materials would
be swept up and reused.
Several of the waste streams identified are not
hazardous waste, such as the white detergent powder
as it has a pH less than 12.5,the tubiwet and the Pure
chlor and absorbent, the waste oil with metals, the
sludge from process area 2 and the wastewater filter
press filter cake/gray sludge.
The oil solids and absorbents, the tubiwash are
hazardous wastes once their role in production is over.
All future wastes will be properly managed at the time
of generation. As applicable, generator knowledge of
waste will be applied to satisfy hazardous waste
profile requirements. If generator knowledge cannot
be accurately applied to a waste, then analytical
profile requirements will be applied to each applicable
waste.
The facility has contracted with Ramos Environmental
Service to transport hazardous waste.
106 CCR Failed to train
66262.34(d) employees on Re the items cited in July 1, 2015,the facility sent the
(2) waste handling return to compliance documents to the County in July
2015 and August 14-15, 2015 see Exhibit D—Return
2
