EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN <br /> Qualex,Inc. <br /> 555 Industrial Park Drive <br /> Manteca,CA 95337 <br /> I.Scope <br /> A.This safety standard establishes a contingency plan in the event of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned release of hazardous waste <br /> or hazardous constituent into the air, soil or surface water which would possibly endanger the health of employees and/or <br /> surrounding environment. This plan will outline specific areas where spills are likely to occur and the amounts of these chemicals <br /> that could be involved.The procedures include the methods for clean-up,equipment needed to clean-up, safety equipment needed to <br /> protect the clean-up crew and location of spill control center(s)where the safety equipment is located. <br /> B. This safety standard pertains to all personnel in the working areas outlined. These individuals will be trained in the emergency <br /> procedures of the contingency plan and will learn how to clean-up the spills that could occur in their working areas, and to notify the <br /> facility's emergency coordmator(s). <br /> H.Policy <br /> A. This plan will describe the actions the facility personnel must take in response to fire, explosions, or any unplanned sudden or <br /> non-sudden release of hazardous waste, chemicals, gas, fuel oil or hazardous waste constituents to air, soil or surface water at the <br /> facility. <br /> B.All personnel should be trained in and familiar with procedures and equipment described in this contingency plan. In the event of <br /> a fire, explosion or any unplanned release of hazardous waste or hazardous constituents into the air, soil or surface water at the <br /> facility,facility personnel shall immediately notify emergency coordinators. <br /> III.Purpose <br /> A.
