There must be at least one <br /> emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following <br /> information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire <br /> extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, <br /> unless the facility has a direct alarm. During the inspection, Garry Seefried completed the provided form by <br /> appointing an emergency coordinator and posting the required information by the facility phone. Continue to keep <br /> the required information posted next to the facilty phone. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class It. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Absorbent contaminated with oil was left on the shop floor near the metal working saw. Dark oil stains were found <br /> on the shop floor near the metal working saw. Oily debris was found near the Monarch form machine compressor. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. immediately clean up the <br /> oily absorbent, dark oil stains, and oily debris and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> In the paint room is a white 55 gallon drum of hazardous waste acetone polyurethane enamel with an accumulation <br /> start date of 7-5-12. This waste has been on site longer than 180 days. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of <br /> hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site <br /> up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest <br /> and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 2-7-16. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials <br /> information online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
