Ancillary equipment includes
piping„ pumps, and leak detection equipment.
Garrett
From: Garrett Backus [EH]
Sent: Monday, November 17, 2008 2:37 PM
To: 'ronaguiar@stocktonnissan.com'
Subject: Hazardous Waste Tank Assessment
Hi Ron,
I have reviewed the waste oil and antifreeze tank assessments and have the following comments: 1) The
photographs are not legible. Please provide legible copies, in color if possible. 2) John Strandberg, P.E., a
chemical engineer, signed both assessments. Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Professional Engineers can sign
the entire assessment. Other types of Professional Engineers can sign off only for parts of a tank certification
within their specific discipline. See the attached document, "New Tank Assessment Letter," for more information.
Sincerely,
Garrett Backus, REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E.
