The waste oil tank and waste antifreeze tank last tank assessment was certified November 18, 2008 <br />and the certification expired November 18, 2013. The owner or operator of a hazardous waste tank shall obtain a <br />written assessment reviewed and certified by an independent, qualified, professional engineer, registered in California <br />attesting that the system has sufficient structural integrity, is acceptable for the transferring, storing, and treating of <br />hazardous waste, and that the tanks and containment system are suitably designed. Immediately have a Registered <br />Professional Engineer re -certify the 1000 gallon waste oil tank and the 500 gallon waste antifreeze tank. Submit a <br />schedule showing when this will be accomplished to the EHD. <br />This is a Class I violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by August 14, 2015. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include <br />your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant <br />activities and required fields. <br />Notes: <br />- A container of universal waste fluorescent tubes were not labeled properly. This was corrected on site. <br />- A black 55 gallon drum of waste oily debris did not have a start accumulation date or hazardous property labeled. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />- A black 55 gallon drum of metal brake shavings did not have a start accumulation date.
