Review for No Further Action - 4 - 1. 15 June 1995
Major Mart, 1235 East Alpine Ave. "r
Stockton, Yolo County
? c
In the model, methyl naphthalene was assumed to be distributed throughout the upper 26 feet of
the column. The model did not result in methyl naphthalene reaching ground water.
CONCLUSIONS
During a San Joaquin County TRC meeting in February 1995, we. discussed the benefits of one
more round of sampling because the ground water level haftone,°up. However, at this site,
ground water has been above the well screens since last year. The consultant attempted to lower.
the water in the wells, with limited success. The water was lowered somewhat, but the samples
showed results similar to other sample periods. One more round of samples did not appear to be
useful. Therefore, based on the soil removal, the definition of soil,contamination, and the absence
of TPHg and BTEX contamination in ground water in the last year, no further action is required at
this site. j}
We received a request for concurrence with a no further action determination, from San Joaquin
County staff, on 30 March 1995.
LIST OF ATTACHMENTS
Attachment A Checklist of Required Data for Closure of Underground Tank Sites
Attachment B - Includes a map and soil data from the 1990 tank.removal and 1991 installation
;e
of MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3. ;
_ Attachment C - Includes a map and soil data from the 19921 tank ;pit excavation, pipeline
removal, and installation of MW-4, MW-5, and MW-6.
Attachment D - Includes maps and soil data from the different stages of the 1993 tank pit
overexcavation. li
Attachment E - Includes a map and soil data from the 1994Yboririgs SB-1, SB-2, SB-3, and SB-4.
Attachment F - Includes ground water data from 1991 through 1994.
l 1
31,
i
i
I1 G
1
