07-17-91 Workplan for three soil borings/monitoring wells received and reviewed by PHSIEHD this <br /> date. <br /> 08-15-91 Three monitoring wells installed at the site. <br /> 08-19-91 PHSIEHD researches septic-no permit for septic system, but not hooked up to city sewer <br /> either. A private septic system on-site was determined to exist. <br /> 10-15-91 PHSIEHD receives 10-09-91 Woodward-Clyde report on the installation of the three <br /> monitoring wells at the site.' The wells were installed within approximately 10 feet of the <br /> former tank pit cavity to the west, south, and east. Groundwater was measured and <br /> sampled on December 31, 1991. Groundwater flow direction was to the south. Depth to <br /> water was approximately 77' bgs. All three wells showed contamination with MW#2 <br /> showing the highest levels. Lead was not detected in the wells. <br /> Groundwater was measured and sampled on August 20, 1991. Groundwater flow <br /> direction was to the northeast with a gradient of 0.0009ft1ft. All three wells showed <br /> contamination. Lead was not detected in the wells. <br /> 06-17-92 PHSIEHD receives first quarter 1992 quarterly report with included results of groundwater <br /> monitoring and sampling conducted on March 30, 1992, the total and soluble lead <br /> analytical results of soil samples collected from varying depths from the tank pit area, and <br /> a proposal to remediate the soil and groundwater at the site. <br /> 1 For historical groundwater analytical results. please refer to end of chronology. <br />
