i
12-07-94 PHS/EHD receives the"Addendum to the Summary of Investigative Findings and Closure
Report' dated November 30, 1994. The addendum reports additional information on the
f estimate of residual soil contamination remaining, the fate of the contamination in the soil,
the estimate of residual groundwater contamination remaining (1,2 DCA), the fate and
transport of the remaining 1,2 DCA, the potential sources to the PCE contamination noted
in the wells nearest the street. The report also piesents the monitoring and sampling
results of the six site wells for the fourth quarter 19946 and the conclusion that closure
is warranted at this time.
The six site wells were monitored and sampled on`Naveniber 24, 1994. Depth to water
was approx. 71.89' to 74.62' bgs with no flow direction being reported. The wells were
purged with a vacuum pump in an attempt to bring down the water table below the screen
portion of the well as water levels have risen. Water in MW#1, MW#2, and MW#3 was
drawn down into the screen interval area during purging, .but not in MW#4, MW#5, and
MVM. All six wells did not show petroleum contaniinatiori except for 1,2 DCA in MW#2
and MW#5 and PCE in MW#4, MW#5, and MW#6.
I
02-15-95 The site is again presented at a TRC meeting with the atldibonal data and information
presented. The TRC votes to process site for regulatory closure.
it
I
3
i}
.i
I'
IN
,l
a
I I
,i
I}
i
E
I
IY
Ik
.r
it
I}
5 For historical groundwater analytical results, please refer,,I:to end of chronology.
I
I .0
1 D
