Existing pavement willj�be resurfaced with <br /> 0. 10' asphalt concrete for surface maintenance and to obliterate <br /> i existing pavement marking to facilitate new lane delineation. <br /> A.C. gutter with curb (dike) will be constructed on the south <br /> side for drainage. Drainage will be piped into existing system <br /> at Coronado Avenue and at West Lane. Raised curb median will be <br /> constructed to replace painted median. . Signal system at West <br /> Lane will be modified for split phasing to allow for dual left <br /> turn movement, and new standards placed to accommodate road <br /> widening. In general, the existing C.G. & '; S. on the north side <br /> will remain in place, however, at the following areas, relocation <br /> will be required: <br /> i 1) N.E. Corner of Coronado Avenue provide for two thru <br /> lanes westbound la M! . <br /> 2) N.W. Corner of West Lane - provide for U-turn on <br /> Alpine Avenue <br /> i E O West Lane - Construct raised curb median to restrict left - <br /> turn movements at San Rafael Avenue. Relocate north curb face 2' <br /> north between West Lane and San Rafael Avenuejto allow for <br /> required lane geometrics (sidewalk reduced to '!41 ) .
