A total of 12 truck loads of soil were transported to the <br />Remco Richmond facility bringing the total weight of the removed soils to 805 28 tons <br />(approximately 596 5 cuyds) <br />On March 17, 1993, the backfilling of the excavation was completed with pea gravel to within <br />five feet of the surface A geo-membrane liner was placed on top of the pea gravel A total <br />of 1089 47 tons (871 58 cuyds) of pea gravel were used to backfill the excavation <br />On March 18, 1993, the excavation area was backfilled with clean soil segregated from the <br />original excavation stockpile and the overburden stockpile This soil was compacted and the <br />entire eastern portion of the site was covered with the layer of crushed rock <br />M\RPTSIAREGIQTRwp C - 10 05!17!93 <br />
