No tank was observed inside the secondary containment. <br /> 2) One 5-gallon container(3/4 full) of a liquid substance was observed next to the fertilizer bulk storage tanks. This <br /> container had a clear liquid phase on the top and orange and less clear liquid on the bottom. <br /> 3) Some dark liquid was noted inside two of the nine bulk storage poly fertilizer tanks ranging in size between 9,500 <br /> gallons and 6,500 gallons. One of the tanks was labeled as"humas".Some dark oily liquid was noted dripping from <br /> the valve of one of the tanks. <br /> 4) One bag house dust filter utilized for"pot ash 0062-murriated pot ash (potassium chloride)"was observed next to <br /> the bulk storage fertilizer tanks. Some white powder material was still present inside its outflow pile. Similar white <br /> powdery material was notes inside the auger blender also used for"pot ash" located next to the bulk storage tanks. <br /> Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a <br /> hazardous waste determination for the above wastes, and manage them according the Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how these wastes were managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
