Waste Streams and Modes of Generation <br /> The following provides a description and photographs of the type of waste <br /> streams, their mode and location of generation within the SJRTD's facility: <br /> • Used Oil: 221 <br /> Y Mode of Generation: Used oil is generated by servicing the <br /> bus and other vehicles' crankcase, power steering fluid, <br /> transmission fluid, and draining oil from oil filters in to transfer <br /> containers or directly into the SJRTD used oil Underground storage <br /> tank (UST). <br /> Point of generation: Photographs 1 and 2 depict the <br /> buses/vehicles being serviced at the SJRTD's maintenance bay_ <br /> Used oils are generated when old and used oils are removed from <br /> the crankcases, transmission, and power steering systems from <br /> buses and vehicles.
