The SJRTD's Waste Minimization Team <br /> The SJRTD has developed an environmental, health and safety (EHS) <br /> committee, which is comprised of the following departments and tears members: <br /> Facilities Department <br /> Maintenance Department <br /> Purchasing Department <br /> Safety and Training Department <br /> Human Resources Department <br /> The SJRTD's environmental heath and safety service provider <br /> The primary purpose of the EHS committee is to achieve the following objectives: <br /> • Meet regularly in order to discuss the status of each and every applicable <br /> EHS program that affects the SJRTD business activities. <br /> • Discuss new and emerging EHS laws and regulations that may affect the <br /> SJRTD's business activities and operations. <br /> • Discuss the waste minimization strategies and their progress to date <br /> • Discuss and resolve any potential issues, which may result in non- <br /> compliance at the SJRTD's Stockton and French Camp facilities. <br /> • Discuss the status of the multi-media/one-stop EHS training program for <br /> all of the SJRTD employees. <br /> The Facilities Department has the responsibility to ensure that the required <br /> elements of the PR is properly tracked throughout the 4 year period, so the PR <br /> report can be properly complied and submitted to the ©PPD on September 1 , <br /> 51 <br />
