Source Reduction Performance <br /> Given the fact that the Calendar year 2002 is the baseline year for this PR, there <br /> are not currently sufficient data and information to asses the effect of waste <br /> management approaches. Hence, this PR shall use the following criteria to <br /> achieve the following objectives for the next four years: <br /> • It shall assess the effect of each implemented hazardous waste <br /> management approach, since the baseline year 2002 on the weight of <br /> hazardous waste generated <br /> • It shall assess the effect of each implemented hazardous waste <br /> management approach, since the baseline year 2002 on the properties, <br /> which would cause the waste to be classified as a hazardous waste. <br /> • It shall assess the effect of each implemented hazardous waste <br /> management approach, since the baseline year 2002 on the on site <br /> management of hazardous waste. <br /> • It shall assess the effect of each implemented hazardous waste <br /> management approach, since the baseline year 2002 on the off site <br /> management of hazardous waste. <br /> Table 2 is designed to track the waste management approaches used by the <br /> SJRTD's WM team in order to gauge the impact of the hazardous waste <br /> management approaches to the actual source reduction efforts as compared to <br /> the baseline year 2002. In addition, the consequential impact and effects of the <br /> waste management approaches on the physical, chemical and other <br /> characteristics of the waste in fulfilling the reduction and minimization objectives <br /> of this PR and the plan are tracked by table 2. <br /> 57 <br />
