(Workplan). <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The Geological Services Unit (GSU) has reviewed the Workplan submitted on behalf of the <br /> facility on March 18, 2002_ The Workplan outlines an offsite investigation to continue evaluating <br /> the nature and extent of trichloroethene (TCE) in the Upper Intermediate Zone south of the <br /> facility. The Workplan was revised based on GSU and Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (CVRWQCB) comments on the Draft Workplan (DTSC 2002; CVRWQCB 2002) <br /> and based on a discussion with the,facility on March 5, 2002. This memorandum provides our <br /> comments and recommendations.
