Alpine Avenue
Stockton, CA 95208
1992 ANNUAL REPORT, KEARNEY-KPF FACILITY, STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
I have reviewed the 27 April 1993 report entitled Summary of Groundwater
Quality and 1992 Annual Report submitted for the Kearney-KPF facility in
Stockton by Dudek and Associates, Inc. I concur with the recommendations in
the report to reduce the frequency of ground water quality monitoring of wells
KS-7, KS-15, KI-7, KI-11 , KI-13, and KI-14 from quarterly to annually. As
recommended, water levels should continue to be measured quarterly, and if
changes in the ground water flow direction indicate a potential for VOCs to
migrate to any of the above wells, then the frequency of sampling shall be
reevaluated.
If you have any questions, please call me at (916) 255-3048.
POLLY LOWRY
Associate Engineering Geologist
PAL:njs
cc: Mr. Doug O'Neal , Toxic Substances Control Division, Sacramento
Ms. Diane Hinson,, San Joauqin County Department of Public Health
Services, Stockton
Mr. Derrick Peterson, Bryan, Cave, McPheeters, and McRoberts,
Washington, D.C.
Mr. Jerry Zilinskas, Kearney, New York
Mr. Peter Quinlan, Dudek and Associates, Encinitas
