Alpine Avenue
Stockton, CA 95208
TREATMENT PERFORMANCE TEST REPORT FOR INTERIM GROUND WATER REMEDIATION,
KEARNEY-KPF, STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
I have reviewed the 29 September 1992 report entitled "Treatment Performance
Test Report for Interim Groundwater Remediation" submitted by Hargis and
Associates, Inc. for the Kearney-KPF facility in Stockton. As I discussed
with Tom Ryan of Hargis and Associates, the report shows the interim remediat-
ion system meets the requirements of Order No. 91-220 and prove-out of the
system may begin on 7 October 1992 as planned.
Tom Ryan stated the deficiencies of the system noted in the report will be
corrected before the prove-out phase begins and that he will send me a letter
confirming this. He also confirmed that the pump in KI-5 has been replaced
and KI-5 will be operated during the prove-out phase.
If you have any questions please call me at (916) 361-5649.
POLLYY LOWRY
Associate Engineering Geologist
PAL: Idj
cc: Mr. Douglas O'Neal , Toxic Substances Control Division, Sacramento
Ms. Diane Hinson, San Joaquin County Department of Public Health
Services, Stockton
Mr. Derrick Peterson, Bryan, Cave, McPheeters, and McRoberts,
Washington, D.C.
Mr. Jerry Zilinskas, Kearney, New York
Mr. Tom Ryan, Hargis and Associates, La Jolla
Mr. Peter Quinlan, Dudek and Associates, Encinitas
