Irispection Report • -3- 0 12 October 1989
Kearney-KPF
Stockton, San Joaquin County
be prohibited. The disposal area should be observed during and after rain events to
determine whether this area drains differently than the surrounding area. The facility
should move the drilling mud disposal area for Phase II and must provide estimates of
mud volumes to be disposed of from Phase II. The facility should consider using larger
discs for deeper blending with the native soils if these mud volumes are similar to
those from Phase I and should also consider leveling the berms from the depression area
and disc these soils in the Phase I drilling mud area. In addition, the facility will
.be required to submit a final report to the Board which summarizes the volumes and
analytical results of all wastes (cuttings, drilling mud and development and aquifer
test waters) from Phase I and II of the remedial investigation which were placed in
the three disposal areas in the western field.
CAMILLA K. WILLIAMS, Engineering Geologist
CKW/mm
