The proposed <br /> actions in your letter are acceptable, but as previously stated; any changes or <br /> alternations to the previous tank assessment are required to be reviewed and <br /> signed by a certified, independent, qualified, professional engineer (civil or <br /> mechanical), registered in California. Please submit to the Department of Toxic <br /> Substances Control (DTSC) within 45 days of the date of receipt of this letter, <br /> documentation stating that piping connected to the tank or unit has been included <br /> in the tank assessment or disconnected from the tank system. <br /> If the underground piping is disconnected from the tank, please provide detailed <br /> information on when the piping was disconnected.
