on them. Next to the hoppers was a pallet with several partially filled plastic <br />bags on it. Mr. Neal explained these bags contained drill tailing debris generated <br />from the baghouse collection area. These bags did not have labels on them. <br />This concluded the facility tour. <br />Mr. Neal led me to his office where I reviewed the hazardous waste manifests. <br />Time constraints did not allow me to complete the inspection this day. <br />June 22, 1994 <br />Pam Violett and I returned to the facility at approximately 10 a.m. We checked <br />in with the front desk and requested to meet with Jim Neal. Mr. Neal led us to <br />his office where we reviewed applicable documents relating to hazardous waste <br />management. Ms. Violett reviewed the remainder of the manifests and <br />determined 631 tons of hazardous waste was manifested offsite in 1993. I <br />reviewed the contingency plan, employee training records, hazardous waste <br />minimization plan, etc. Mr. Neal explained that he sent a copy of LIKXS source <br />reduction evaluation review plan and its associated summary of hazardous waste <br />management performance report to Cal-EPA/DTSC on May 11, 1994. <br />IX. DISCUSSION WITH MANAGEMENT: <br />At the conclusion of our inspection, we reviewed the violations noted during the <br />inspection. Mr. Neal explained he had corrected the violations that were brought <br />to his attention on June 21, 1994. We informed Mr. Neal he will receive a <br />Report of Violations and a Schedule of Corrections addressing the violations <br />observed during the inspection.
