Date: October 20, 1993
San Joaquin County
Public Health Services
445 N. San Joaquin
Stockton, CA. 95201
Attn: Pamela S. Violett
Y;gXjYXt
OCT 2 0 1993
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
•
1443 Navy Drive
Stockton , CaliEornia 95206
(2091 948-0944
FAX (209) 948-0816
This letter is a follow up to your visit on October 8, 1993. The following 4 items were those mentioned,
that required action. There was a 5 gallon bucket that was improperly labeled, this same bucket did not
have a lid, there was a second container which did not have a lid, and documentation indicating that
training was up to date was not available.
To correct the first two items a 5 gallon bucket with a lid was put in place in soldermask and a correct
label was attached. To correct the third item the operators of the H.A.L. have been asked to place the
solder dross in the hazardous waste container immediately after skimming the solder. To correct the final
item documentation will be placed on file indicating that work experience has been sufficient to keep the
employees up to date. In addition a new refresher program has been under development and will be
implemented soon, logs of those attending will be kept on file.
If you have any further questions or concerns please contact me at (209) 948-0944.
Respectfully
James Neal
