VII. VIOLATIONS
No violations were noted at the time of the inspection.
VIII. OBSERVATIONS
Carol Oz and I arrived at LIKA Corporation at approximately
1000 hours. We identified ourselves to the receptionist and
asked to speak with the appropriate hazardous waste
management person. James G. Neal greeted us and escorted us
to his office where we reviewed the facilities employee
training records, hazardous waste manifests, contigency plan
and waste analysis records.
Mr. Neal then led us through the facility operations in the
main building where the circuit boards are produced. We
viewed the copper plating, the etching, electroless
plating, and the electroplating of the boards through to the
finished product.
Mr. Neal then led us through the hazardous waste storage area
where the hazardous waste was properly labeled and stored.
IX. DISCUSSION WITH MANAGEMENT
At the conclusion of the inspection, Mr. Neal took us to the
general managers office and introduced us to George Lorente.
They were told a copy of the inspection report will be mailed
to them. With the inspection completed, Carol Oz and I left
the facility.
