The total
amount of gasoline spilled was approximately 250 gallons. It was discovered
at 5 am this morning and was completely cleaned up by 2 pm. The spill
occurred when a Port of Stockton water line ruptured in Navy Drive, flooding
our truck loading rack area and causing the sump for our spill containment
system to overflow. The terminal personnel fully contained the spill with
absorbent pads. A vacuum truck removed all gasoline. The problem has been
corrected.
Sincerely,
v Fred Proby
Environmental Specialist
cc: Ms. Casey Israel ,
San Joaquin Local Health District
FLP/jam
154E
