The San Joaquin Local Health District billing statement dated July 1, 1989 reflects half of the annual
generator fees due and payable to the Health District for 1989. The second half of the annual
generator fee will be billed November 1, 1989, prior to the mailing of the State Board of
Equalization billing for the new calendar year. Again, the generator is advised to total the local fees
paid in July and November of 1989 to the Local Health District generator program, and then deduct
these fees from the State Board of Equalization billing when it arrives in December.
FOR EXAMPLE:
Hazardous Waste Generated Local Fees Local Fees Total Fees Paid to
in Tons (Based on Hazardous Billed Billed Local H.W.
Waste Manifested in 1987) July 1 Nov 1 Program in 1989
>=25 Tons <50 Tons $606.25 $606.25 $1,212.50
State Board of Equalization Billing December 1989:
(Based on Hazardous Waste Manifested in 1988)
Board of Equalization fees due for new calendar year
Local fees paid ($1,212.50) in 1989
Balance due and payable to Board of Equalization
NOTE: After the November 1, 1989 billing is conducted, the San Joaquin Local Health District
will not bill hazardous waste generators again until November 1, 1990.
