Mr. Driscoll stated that he is
a temporary fill in and has only been at the facility "a little over a week." The oxidizer, flammable, and
acid hazardous waste totes were empty. The toxic and alkaline hazardous waste totes each contained
one item. According to Mr. Driscoll, the damaged products are placed near the registers and sorted
several times each day by either a front end lead or a night supervisor. Mr. Driscoll stated that "no
damaged items are returned to the distribution center." When asked about disposal of broken or faulty
items, Mr. Driscoll stated that any hazardous waste would be removed from the items and placed in the
appropriate totes, and all other items, including waste electronics, would be "disposed of through trash
service."
