0 0
The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been
addressed for MARCH AND BIANCHI CHEVRON as of May 20, 2015.
Open violations from April 02, 2015 inspection
Violation #109 - Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years.
Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for April 2, 2012 through April 2, 2015 were not four
on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all
receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for
review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and
submit copies to the EHD.
Violation #112 - Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years.
Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for April 2, 2012 through April 2, 2015 were not found on site. Hazardor
waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a
consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately
locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the
EHD.
Violation #501 - Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days.
Two 55 gallon containers of hazardous waste did not have a start accumulation date and therefore could not be
determined how long they were on site. The Manager Jeet Kaur said that they were last emptied sometime lastyear
and that both containers have waste inside of them. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste
per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days.
Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy o
the manifest to the EHD.
Violation #605 - Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste.
Two 55 gallon containers of hazardous waste were not properly labeled. One drum that was located in the front of thr
dumpster area was missing all the information except the physical state and the words hazardous waste. The other
gallon container that was located in the back of the dumpster area was missing all the information except the words
hazardous waste.. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information:
- the words "Hazardous Waste'
- name and address of generator
- hazardous properties
- physical state
- composition (contents)
- accumulation start date
Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since
it cannot be determined how long the two 55 gallon containers have been on site, immediately contact a licensed
hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD.
