A wash rack was observed near the western property line behind the shop. According to the site contacts, the rinse water flows to an ail-water separator connected to a septic system. The wash rack waste flows through a trench to a concrete vault underground. A PVC pipe appeared to exit the vault on the other end of the vault, discharging to a grassy area approximately three feet east of the vault. No hazardous waste determination has been made for this waste. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop disposal of waste to the concrete vault/oil-water separator system, make a hazardous waste determination for the oily waste water, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. This is a repeat violation, Class Il. Page 3 of 6
