Any and all dams not specifically listed may be at additional cost. All'othee costs not <br />specifically mentioned or addressed in terms and conditions are to be approved by customer prior to providing any additional services. Customer is bound by these terms <br />conditions upon approval of work regardless of formal execution and re -submission of this proposal. <br />Payment and Credit Terms: <br />We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Rapid Recovery credit (subject to credit approval). All Rapid Recovery credit account sales are invoiced NET 30 <br />unless otherwise pre -arranged during the credit approval process and specified as such on the invoice. Rapid Recovery reserves the right to charge a convenience fee for <br />accepting late payments. Rapid Recovery further reserves the right to charge a late payment fee at the rete of one and one-half percent (1-1/2%) of the unpaid amount due <br />each month, or such amount as permitted under applicable law. Reasonable collection and attorneys fees will be assessed to all accounts placed in collection. <br />Customer agrees that any refrigerant or other credit balance(s) issued by Rapid Recovery will be applied to customers account. Credits issued on account are available for <br />refund NET 30, uoon request. Credits must be applied or requested for refund within one year of issuance. Any remaining credit balance will be cancelled and Rapid Recovery <br />will have no further liability. <br />Limitation of Liability: <br />Rapid Recovery expressly disclaims any liability for consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. Rapid Recovery's liability in all circumstances is limited <br />to, and shall not exceed, the price paid for the service that gives rise to any liability. If any item in this agreement is found to be contrary to any local, state or federal law it <br />shall be considered null and void, just as a it had never appeared in the agreement and it shall not affect the validity of any other item in the agreement. This agreement and <br />its attachments and any other written agreements make up the entire agreement. Oral agreements are not binding. Insurance premiums resulting from requirements in excess <br />of our standard policy limits will be passed on to you with an additional surcharge. <br />Technical Terms: <br />Standard Gasoline Powered Recovery of Medium Pressure Appliances/Systems (R-22, R -134a, R -410a or similar) <br />• Recovery equipment is vehicle mounted: therefore, hoses must be ran from the vehicle to the appliance(s) being recovered. <br />• Recovery equipment is gasoline powered and produces sound levels equivalent to commercial landscaping equipment. <br />• Parking must be available in close proximity to the appliance(s) being recovered. <br />• Roof access must be provided if location of appliance(s) is over 2511 in height. <br />Recovery of Low Pressure Appliances/Systems (R-11, R-113 & R-123) or Medium Pressure Difficult Access Appliances/Systems (R-22, R -134a, R -410a or similar) <br />• Rapid Recovery equipment will require elevator, stairs or ramp access to units being recovered. <br />• Rapid Recovery equipment utiles a water -coded Condenser. Therefore, standard cold water hose bib and floor drain must be available within close proximity to recovery. <br />• Two (2) 120 -volt, 20 -amp electrical outlets on independent circuits must be exclusively available for Rapid Recovery equipment and located within close proximity to the appliance(s) <br />being recovered. Location and access to applicable circuit breakers must also be provided. <br />Cylinder Handling <br />• When recovered refrigerant is left on-site for any reason, a deposit of $500 per cylinder is required to be Paid for all Rapid Recovery cylinders. Customer is wholly responsible for all <br />cylinders left on site at time of service until picked up by Rapid Recovery. Rapid Recovery cylinders may only be transposed by Rapid Recovery. <br />• Rapid Recovery is not responsible for the purity or quality of recovered refrigerant. Recovered refrigerant no longer meets AHRI 700 specifications and reuse of any such refngerant is <br />done at Customers own risk. <br />• When recovered refrigerant is to be recharged into the system and left on-site in customer provided cylinders, no deposit is required— additional charges may apply depending on <br />cylinder size and valve type. <br />• Rapid Recovery does gat recharge systems. <br />• Cylinder rental will apply to all Rapid Recovery cylinders left on-site. It is the customers responsibility to notify Rapid Recovery when cylinders are ready to be picked up. <br />• Rapid Recovery is gni responsible for the value or replacement of any refrigerant which may be lost during recovery or during storage in any cylinder left on-site. <br />System Operation During Recovery <br />• Rapid Recovery is not a HVAC/R contractor and does not perform installation, maintenance, service or repair. <br />• Rapid Recovery does not provide disposal of appliances. <br />• Customer is responsible to property shut down and secure appliance(s) prior to recovery. <br />• Customer is responsible for protecting chiller tubes from freezing. Tube damage may occur during recovery if proper precautions aren't taken. Ensure that water is running through or <br />completely drained from both the condenser and evaporative barrels during recovery. In certain circumstances other precautions maybe necessary to prevent tube damage. <br />• Rapid Recovery is get responsible for damage to tubes. <br />• Rapid Recovery does g4i operate any appliance. <br />• Customers who wish to increase recovery efficiency by pumping appliances down or by otherwise running appliances during the recovery process do so at their own risk. <br />• Proposal prices based on recovery of only portions of an appliance/system, such as a pumped down appliance/system, are subject to appliance/system valves functioning correctly. <br />Valves which do not function properly, and therefore require additional recovery beyond specified scope, will result in additional charges. <br />• Rapid Recovery will recover refrigerant present in listed appliances/systems to EPA prescribed levels. Recovery to levels beyond EPA requirements may be available for an additional <br />charge. <br />• Not all appliances/systems contain a full factory refngerant charge. Recovery price will not be reduced for systems which are low on charge or determined empty. <br />Access, Scheduling & Additional Terms <br />• Accessibility issues beyond what is specifically listed may result in additional charges. <br />• Recovery scheduled during unusual work hours such as nights, weekends or holidays will have additional charges unless specifically listed in the proposal. <br />• Standby rime, such as waiting for access on-site, site orientation meetings, site mandated safety meetingsaraining, waiting for security clearance or other vendoncustomer delays, will <br />result in additional charges. <br />• NOT valid for Davis Bacon Act or other projects requiring certlined payroll or prevailing wage unless explicitly listed in this proposal.
