' Job No. 4780200 Page 1 <br /> ' 1 .0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This Work Plan for Soil Sampling and Analysis describes the work proposed to <br /> investigate the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil surrounding the <br /> ' former Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) and fuel dispensing units at the <br /> aforementioned subject site. Our work plan was prepared for submittal to the <br /> ' San Joaquin Public Health Services, the local implementing agency. Our Work <br /> Plan includes a Site Safety Plan, which outlines the health and safety protocol <br /> ' to be implemented during the performance of all field activities associated with <br /> ' our study. This Work Plan was prepared for submittal to the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services (SJCPHS). <br /> 1.1 Site Location and Description <br /> The subject site is located at 820 South American Street in Stockton, California <br /> (see Figure 1). According to the United States Geological Survey Map, <br /> Stockton West Quadrangle, the site is at an approximate elevation of 15 feet <br /> above mean sea level and is located in Subdivision J, Section 11 of Township <br /> 1 north, Range 6 east of the Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. <br /> The property consists of three parcels of land that are occupied by several <br /> ' buildings that are not currently in use (see Figure 2). Three USTs were <br /> removed from the site several years ago. The buildings were previously used <br /> ' for building materials storage and the former USTs were used by delivery trucks <br /> serving that operation. The scope of work presented within this Work Plan will <br /> be performed on two of the three parcels that constitute the subject site (see <br /> Assessor's Parcel Map - Figure 3)• <br /> ' EC, Inc.
