' Job No. 4780200 Page 3
' analysis. One additional boring will be drilled at the location of the
former dispenser. This boring will be 4-feet deep and one soil sample
will be collected from the bottom (4 feet). These samples will be
analyzed for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), Benzene,
' Toluene, Ethyl benzene, and Xylenes (BTEX).
• Drill one soil boring at the former location of the 1 ,000-gallon diesel
UST. This boring will be drilled to a depth of approximately 20 feet.
Soil samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals for subsequent analysis.
A soil sample will be collected from the former dispenser location. All
' samples will be analyzed for TPH as diesel (TPHd) and BTEX.
' • Drill one soil boring at the former location of the 8,000-gallon, leaded
' gasoline UST. This boring will be drilled to a depth of approximately 20
feet. Soil samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals for subsequent
analysis. A 10-foot deep boring will also be advanced at the former
location of the dispenser serving this UST. Two soil samples will be
' collected from this boring at depths of approximately 5 and 10 feet. A
third soil boring will be drilled to an approximate depth of 4 feet in the
' area where it is believed that two former fuel dispensers serving this
UST were located. A sample will be collected from a depth of 4 feet in
' this boring. All samples will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, Total Lead,
and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). VOC analysis will be
tconducted using EPA test method 8240.
• Two discrete soil samples will be collected from the existing stockpile of
soil. These two samples will be composited at the laboratory and
tanalyzed for TPHg, TPHd and BTEX, Total Lead, and VOCs.
• Soil generated during drilling will be stockpiled with the existing stockpile
of soil. The open boreholes will then be backfilled with a neat cement
grout as required by the SJCPHS.
' EC, Inc. December 23, 1992
