' January 23 , 19
Public Health Services/Environmental Healt• {
San Joaquin County iviRE C FI V E
304 E. Weber Ave.
Stockton, CA 95201 JAN 2 3 7997
ATTN: Margaret Lagorio, REHS, Supervisor ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH,
/Mary MeaWgpSER*ICES
RE: Your letter to Brad K. Frahm dated 1/9/97 regarding
site code 1010 at 820 S. American St. Stockton.
In response to your above letter I offer the following:
1 • I received your letter of Jan. 9 , 97 on Jan.12 , 97 .
You have required me to submit to you a work plan by
Jan. 24, 97. That allows me twelve days. Now, is
that reasonable in any sense of the word?, especially
since I've received no correspondence from you for
nearly a year.
2 • Upon receipt of your Jan.9, 97 letter, I met with a
field engineer at California Water Service Company.
He informed me that the water well you refer to in the
above letter has been basically abandoned since 1980
because of lack of aquifer (water table) .
3 • I have always answered your letters and I admit that
due to severe financial hardship I have not been able
to perform as you would have me do, but, I definitely
have not been recalcitrant in any sense.
4 . During next week (the week of Jan 27, 97) , a Geo Tech
engineer (or an attorney?) from Law, Albanese, and
West Inc. will visit you or contact you to move
forward on the resolution of this project. Since I am
the property owner, I expect to receive copies of all
communications and communicates you have with Law,
Albanese, and West.
5 • It is vital that I have a meeting with Margaret
Lagorio and Mary Meays and anyone else in your office
of a supervisory status to discuss the overall
contents of your letter of Jan 9, 1997. Please call
me at 931-5821 to advise me as to the date of such
meeting so that I can schedule my people who may be
interested in attending.
Brad Frahm
5835 E.
