Siebold Construction • - 2 - r 25 February 2014 '
820 S. American St., Stockton
San Joaquin County
and #6 Tasks may not be needed, and will not be invoiced by GHD, if the site meets the criteria
for closure upon completion of the closure evaluation in Task#1.
I approve the Budget as necessary and appropriate to protect human health and to reach
closure in a reasonable time frame at this site.
It is my understanding, based on other EAR Account sites, that the State Water Resources
Control Board (State Water Board) Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund technical staff will
conduct independent reviews for pre-approval of the GHD costs presented in the Budget. The
implementation of the Budget is subject to availability and appropriation of State funds in a new
contract amendment. We will await confirmation of funding availability and concurrence from
the State Water Resources Control Board staff so the work described in the Budget may be
implemented as soon as possible. Failure to provide pre-approval may result in delays to
closure under the State Water Resources Control Board Low Threat Closure Policy.
Please contact me by phone at (916) 464-4614 or by email at Iim.bartonCcwaterboards.ca.gov
when you receive any information on funding and technical reviews from the State Water Board.
t &
aures L.L.
