Spreckels alone paid over $602,800 in property
tax plus $8,000 to S.J.I.D. and didn' t use one pint of their water.
Farming and manufacturing are all under control of County, State
and National Health Agents and Spreckels has undertaken substantial
measures to reduce odors, pollution and water facilities at a cost
of almost $1 million.
Maybe the residents of ElRancho should take a close look in
their own back yards to correct the fly and mosquito problem.
It' s time for City people to wake up to the fact that food is
grown on a farm not just bought in a grocery store.
Planning principles indicate that the expansion of the mobile
home park should be denied.
Hit the nail squarely on the head to drive a point straight home.
Respectfully,
CAS-NILE G N RDEFARM BUREAU
1i i
Ruby jfinsdale, Sec.
