FGL Environmental Doe ID: S3HWS020.002 <br /> Revision Date: 6/22/00 Page: 7 of 12 <br /> 10.0 HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT CONTINGENCY PLAN <br /> This Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan has been prepared pursuant to the provisions of 22 CCR <br /> 66264.5 1, et seq., which has been designed to minimize hazards to human health and the <br /> environment from fires, explosions, and/or unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous <br /> materials, hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents to air, soil or surface water. <br /> The provisions of this Contingency Plan are intended to be carried out immediately whenever there <br /> is a fire, explosion or release of hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents which could <br /> threaten harm to human health or the environment. <br /> IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE, EXPLOSION, OR UNPLANNED RELEASE OF <br /> HAZARDOUS MATERIALS OR WASTES INTO THE AIR,SOIL OR SURFACE WATER <br /> AT THE FACILITY. THIS CONTINGENCY PLAN SHALL BE PUT INTO EFFECT <br /> IMMEDIATELY BY THE PERSONNEL OBSERVING THE INCIDENT OR <br /> OCCURRENCE. THE FIRST EMERGENCY COORDINATOR AT THE SCENE SHALL <br /> TAKE COMMAND. <br /> 10.1 Emergency Coordinators <br /> The following persons have been assigned by FGL as Emergency Coordinators(EC).Notify the first <br /> person on the list in the event of an emergency. If the first person is not available,immediately contact <br /> the second person,and so on down the list. Coordination has been arranged for as indicated in Part IV. The EC <br /> or designee shall meet the responding agencies and direct them to the incident and stand by to <br /> assist with information and other resources.
