2) Design Standar 3s:
a) Steel Tank. ,kbove Ground
b) Material thickness not available because double wall tank does not allow access
to inside tan wall. Tank is in good condition with original pain finish still
intact.
c) Tank systema piping is welded copper piping with 1%" diameter steel reinforced
flexible rubl ,er hose at the moveable pan and at the discharge side of the pump.
d) External suction pump mounted to top of tank with secondary containment pan.
Air operated diaphragm pump. Pump Capacity= 40 GPM
e) Tank drawing see exhibit "A".
3) Documented age of tank estimated to be less than 10 years old.
4) Leak Detection :Eguipment:
Tank is equipt with automatic shut-off and over fill alarm, and a sensor in the
secondary contahiment space. Equipment by `BJ Enterprises".
5) Corrosion Protection:
Steel tank has thy, original epoxy paint coating.
6) Spill Prevention or Overfill Equipment:
The tank has inter Val secondary (double wall tank) containment. The fittings for the
steel reinforced flwxible hose are protected from spills by secondary containment
pans, and the welded copper pipe is considered "jointless". The pump and associated
fittings are mounted within the secondary containment pan. An overfill alarm and
automatic shut -of f are provided. Monitoring, automatic shut off and alarm equipment
by "BJ Enterprises".
7) Secondary Containment for the Tank System:
The tank has integral secondary (double wall tank) containment. The suction lines
are steel reinforced flexible rubber hose protected with fittings, protected by
secondary containment pans, and the welded copper lines are considered "jointless".
S) Hazardous Characteristics of the Waste:
Waste oil is combustible, and is toxic.
9) Results of a Visual Inspection:
The tank, piping and ancillary equipment has been visually inspected. There is no
evidence of leaks, scrapes of protective coatings, corrosion or structural damage.
Interior tank wall -ould not be inspected due to lack of access.
10) Results of Tiightn ess Test:
An inspection has been performed to verify the integrity of the waste oil system. The
pressurized systen: and the vented tank have no leaks.
