Containment was also moved so as not to allow rain to directly fall into the
containment pallet.
b) Diesel spill pallets also had absorbent pads inserted into the bottom to allow easy cleanup
4) I8V HSC25201(a) Store of hazardous material on site more than 90 days.
a) The drum labeled as a haz waste was determined that it could be used as long as the pump had
a water filter on it. The diesel was pumped into the machine using a pump with this filter and
was used as intended.
b) This visit was when I was first notified that we are now being considered as a large quantity
generator reducing our handling time from 180 days to 90 days.
c) Also attached is our last manifest.
5) 79V CCR 66273.34 Failed to store UW lamps in a closed container and in a manner that prevents
breakage and release to the environment, or immediately clean and containerize any broken
lamps or releases to the environment.
a) Those lamps had just been changed out and the maintenance person was in the process of
locating a container for those bulbs. The waste box had just finished being filled and more space
was needed. We had just fixed up the break room and changed out all those bulbs that morning.
b) Extra boxes for storage are now stored where the bulbs are kept. (see attached photo)
