Main Street
Stockton, CA 95202-3029
Re: Hazardous Waste Program Inspection
Dear Mr. Cacapit:
On May 14, 2010, you completed a Hazardous Waste Program Inspection at 2500 W. Turner
Road in Lodi, CA. As part of the inspection, you listed the following items that needed to be
addressed. Below is my response for each item:
1. Item #23 — Disposal records for oil filters associated with the emergency generator.
Maintenance on the emergency generator is performed by Wagner Equipment. Wagner
Equipment has provided copies of the annual generator maintenance inspection report for the last
three years. Each report is three pages long and at the bottom of third page is information relating
to the waste manifest and used oil/oil filters. Please see the attached documentation.
2. Item #60 & #63 — Manifest for the disposal of hazardous materials. The only waste to be
disposed of in the last three years is universal waste and used oil/oil filters associated with the
emergency generator. These items are specifically addressed in Items#23 and#85.
2. Item #64 — Documentation for spent lead acid batteries. The batteries used in this
telecommunications facility are designed to last 15 to 20 years. These batteries were installed in
2000 and there has been no disposal of lead acid batteries in the past three years.
3. Item #85 — Disposal records for universal waste. The only universal waste that has been
recycled from this location in the past three years is electronic/computer equipment. I have
attached recycling/disposal records for these events.
4. Item #52 —Modified contingency plan. This issued was corrected on site during the day of the
inspection.
