TRACY, PLANT #20 <br /> TEMPLE-INLAND <br /> POLLUTION PREVENTION AND EMERGENCY <br /> RESPONSE MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> RELEASE REPORTING PROCEDURE <br /> 1) Employee discovering the spill gets away from the spill and alerts others to stay away from <br /> the area. <br /> 2) Employee alerts Supervisor-In-Charge. Then the Supervisor-In-Charge first looks for injuries <br /> and then identifies if an incidental spill is occurring, as referenced in the Emergency <br /> Procedures, Spill Response Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). <br /> 3) If an incidental response is sufficient, the Emergency Coordinator with the assistance of the <br /> Shift Supervisor will direct the clean-up. <br /> 4) If a spill is NOT identified as incidental,—i.e. emergency spill,then the Supervisor-In-Charge <br /> will contact General Manager, Production Manager, and Emergency Environmental <br /> Coordinator. <br /> 5) The Emergency Environmental Coordinator will identify material, determines the character, <br /> source, amount, and real extent of the release; utilizing observation, facility records and <br /> manifests. <br /> 6) The facility's Spill Plan (part of PPERM Plan) will be put into effect by the GM.
