SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) This is a Routine Hazardous Waste inspection. The following is Class II Repeat violation: 101, and Minor -Notice to Comply: 407 101. This facility's EPA ID number is inactive. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately contact DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD by 05/30/2013. A form has been provided. 407. Observed one 55 -gallon empty steel drum with a hazardous waste label under parts of a removed cyclone fence. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. NOTES Facility is a retail gas station and generates hazardous waste from customer spillage or monitoring system certification. No hazardous waste was observed or had been generated in 2012 during this inspection. Discussed universal waste management, and supplied a copy of San Joaquin County Small Business Hazardous Waste Disposal Program pamphlet. Submit the following to EHD by: 05/30/2013 1) A completed copy of the (attached) Return to Compliance Certification (please keep original for your records). 2) A written statement how each violation was corrected 3 Evidence i.e. photos, disposal receipts, documents in support of the corrections made. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
