A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose <br /> of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go to the DTSC <br /> web site http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number . <br /> Immediately reactivate your hazardous waste ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 102 CCR 66262.11 Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> Metal fines generated from metal drilling, grinding, and cutting are being recycled as scrap metal without first <br /> determining particle size or hazardous properties. According to Mr. Son Nguyen, the metal fines found onsite during <br /> the 2014 hazardous waste inspection were recycled as scrap metal. Any person who generates a waste shall <br /> determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop recycling metal fines, make a hazardous waste <br /> determination for the metal waste, and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Metal particles <br /> 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is determined to be a hazardous waste. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for used oil and used antifreeze for 2016, 2015, and 2014 were not <br /> found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and <br /> all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for <br /> review.
