This information was required to be submitted by August 7,2015 . This <br /> information has not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an <br /> inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective <br /> actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response documenting <br /> corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report.Violations not <br /> corrected: Failed to report program electronically. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 117 HSC 25404(e)(4) Failed to report program data electronically. <br /> A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS)for the hazardous waste program has not been <br /> made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new(or any changes to existing) <br /> hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous <br /> waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required <br /> fields. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The report was amended by the <br /> EHD. The amended report replaces the initial report. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the amended inspection report. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include <br /> your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant <br /> activities and required fields. <br /> NOTES: <br /> -The facility generates sanding dust, paint booth filters, and paint related waste. <br /> -The facility not disposed of any waste as hazardous waste and have no hazardous waste manifest. <br /> -The facility Owner Ramon Lopez states sometimes to fix parts of a car he removes oil and other fluids from <br /> vehicles he is working on and then place it back into the vehicle. He also stated that sometimes he will top off <br /> any oil and radiator fluid in a vehicle if it needs it. <br /> -The Owner Ramon Lopez stated that he does sand vehicles that have paint that could potentially contain <br /> hazardous metals. <br /> -The metal grinder and shavings were no longer in side the facility during inspection. Ramon said that Jorge <br /> Santiago, the previous Owner, removed this equipment. <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
