San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department <br />1868 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205-6232 <br />Telephone: (209) 468-3420 Fax: (209) 468-3433 Web: www.sigov.org/ehd <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />Facility Address: <br />Date: <br />Caliber Collision Centers - Stockton <br />3210 N Wilson Way,Stockton <br />May 27 2016 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS 1, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br />The following containers were improperly labeled or lacked labels: <br />Metal shop: <br />-One blue, steel, 35 gallon drum of waste anti -freeze with no date of accumulation, hazardous property or physical <br />state. <br />-One blue, steel, 55 gallon drum of bonding dust and sandpaper with no date of accumulation, hazardous property or <br />physical state. <br />Paint shop: <br />-One blue, steel, 35 gallon drum of waterborne cleaning solution with no date of accumulation, hazardous property, or <br />physical state. <br />-One blue, steel, 35 gallon drum of lacquer thinner with no physical state or hazardous property. <br />-One blue, steel, 55 gallon drum of bonding dust and sandpaper with no date of accumulation, hazardous property, or <br />physical state. <br />-Two blue, steel, 55 gallon drums of paint filters with no date of accumulation, hazardous property, physical state or <br />generator address <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br />these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br />dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by June 26th, 2016. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include <br />your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant <br />activities and required fields. <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />
